Finding the old nursery
We are the wide tin building set back from the footpath, with the nursery sign left up because taking it down felt rude.
There is street parking along Clarence Street and a public car park a block away that empties out after six.
It is a flat ten-minute walk from the foreshore, and the buses along the main street stop two corners from the door.

We will call you a car from the front bench at any hour we are open.
Reservations
Four things worth knowing before you ring
- How late can I book for tonight?
- Until about seven, and later midweek if the board is holding up.
- Is there a deposit?
- No. We take a name and a number and that is the arrangement.
- Can I reserve a card bench?
- Two of the eight, for four to six players, held until seven.
- Do you take large groups?
- Up to fourteen, with a fortnight's notice, and we will rearrange the benches.
